soulitudes and
himalayan village
we are proud to present a unique self development experience by a leading exponent of
indian classical music from the south, tm krishna.
as we evolve through various stages in life and start stabilising, one realizes that our cognitive and functional capabilities are not completely adequate to deal with situations.
the ability to handle ambiguity, people and broader responsibilities require subtle skills.
thus both in work and personal life, success starts being determined by our ability to supplement cognition, analytical or hard intelligence with subtler intelligences.
art in general and music in particular is known to have the ability to build the softer intelligence quotients.
in the lap of the himalayas tm krishna will, through the highest form of
indian music conduct a unique workshop to expand your creativity and subtle intelligences.
the program will include a candlelight concert; alaps in the background of the
himalayan peaks glowing during sunrise or sunset; and discussions on the power of music among
oak and rhondendron trees.
to ensure a personal experience with the teacher, group and within and the environment, the participants will not exceed twenty five.

the
process of creation
the concept and music is produced without any instruments but by using their mouth and whatever is available around them (chairs, pieces of wood, what ever may be available in nature etc -
without the use of actual instruments – music and rhythm.
the quality of the music is not important but only the process.
explain the whole process from Idea generation to – adaptation of things around to help in the musical production to acceptance in the group – presentation.
this will lead to a lot of introspection into how we create, what each one contributes, how fast do they react to situation, what guides the our whole process and in the whole a enjoyment of oneself and the team.
